Our Story

The Great American Barbecue Company is a small business based in the historic barbecue city of St. Louis, MO. The GABC journey began while I was working for a very customer-focused company, a company that inspired me with a passion for, or more accurately an obsession with creating memorable experiences for everyone around me. I have also been an avid barbecue fanatic most of my life. I started making my own rubs and sauces several years ago, and I finally decided to take my love of barbecue, combine it with my passion for serving others, and go into business for myself. My purpose is to enrich as many lives as I can by doing something I absolutely love!

We are incredibly passionate about barbecue! From our handcrafted rubs to our unique selection of BBQ gifts for all ages, we are serious about spreading flavor and smiles! Whether you're cooking beef, chicken, pork, veggies or anything in between, we've got something to help you enhance the flavor and make some great memories! 

We are a Customer Experience company that happens to specialize in barbecue and other flavor products. We also love BBQ themed gifts, so we've created some awesome one-of-a-kind products for fellow St. Louis Q lovers like ourselves! My vision for our brand is to fuse my passions for barbecue and serving others to deliver products and experiences that inspire local pride, bolster a sense of patriotism, and make people feel cared for. As Maya Angelou once said- people can forget what we do and say, but they always remember how we make them feel. I want to make great products, but I am obsessed with creating lasting experiences that make people feel great!
